The main inspiration for our collections are stones - the beauty of their natural forms and structures. Care for the environment has been one of our top priorities since we started our journey with Kamena so we make sure that our production and packaging are as eco friendly as possible.

We produce jewellery in small quantities, often to individual customer orders. We avoid generating overproduction and seasonal sales. We create timeless jewellery designs. It gives us great joy that our jewellery finds its way into the hearts of both younger and older customers.

For a long time, we worked on something very important for us - biodegradable jewellery packaging. It took us a lot of time to implement the idea which appeared in our heads. Finding manufacturers ready to produce our dream boxes turned out to be quite a challenge. We wanted packaging that was plastic-free and consistent with the aesthetic of our brand. After many months of searching, we found a local manufactory ready to create a small series of boxes for us, without the use of artificial sponges and padding normally used in jewellery boxing. Together we came up with a beautiful minimalist design.

Our external packaging for shipping had always been made from recycled materials, but we improved the design of it so you could enjoy opening delivery from Kamena even more.

So how does packing of our jewellery look like?

We place jewellery in a beautiful minimalist box with a paper insert and attach it with a linen string if necessary. Inside the box, you will find information about how your jewellery is made and in most cases about the history and meaning of the stone set in your jewellery piece. To secure the parcel, we put tissue paper inside the shipping packaging. We seal the box with paper tape and stick a label printed on eco paper on it. Et voilà!

You can also make a positive impact on the environment and agree to have your order shipped in an outer recycled box when you make your purchase.
