Mountain Crystal - Stones at Kamena
5.jpg

Another mineral you'll find in our collections is Mountain Crystal. In Poland, samples of this crystal are found in Lower Silesia, more specifically in the mineral rich Karkonosze area.

The name behind the mineral comes from the Greek word 'Crystallos' that translates to ice. As the legend says, arising from water that trickled down the mountainsides during the winter, no less than icicles would form that in turn lost their ability to melt. And further to the ancient legend, the crystal mineral was also identified closely to the diamond, and thus used in decorating precious necklaces. Mountain Crystal captures the eye with its flawless and pristine shades, and flickering play of reflective light once polished.

If you feel that this unmeltable and likewise unbeatable ice, framed in silver may be an ideal addition to you winter style, then check out our jewellery: kamenajewellery.com/collection/mountain-crystal
