History of the brooch dates back to 1500 B.C. In the past they were called fibula and they served practical function such as fastening garments. This useful and at the same time decorative form was popular in ancient Greece and Rome.
Collection was inspired by the Berber brooch brought as a gift from Morocco. Berber jewellery has been traditionally hand-crafted by native tribes of North Africa who have long tradition of creating amazing silver pieces decorated with the filigree forms. Berber brooch is an open circle with a sliding pin that serves as a clasp.
We have prepared for you our contemporary version of brooches. As always, we use locally acquired stones and timeless design.
