It's called the King amongst crystals, owing to its flawless transparency that was often equated to that of the diamond. The Ancient Greeks considered this mineral to be a form of ice which lost its property to melt and hence the word Crystallos actually meant ice. This beautiful mineral is a carrier of positive energy, brings harmony, has a purifying effect on the body and mind. In Poland, this crystal is found mainly in Lower Silesia and the Karkonosze mountains.
